Inside the Workflow of a Meme Page With 2 Million Followers

September 8, 2026 · by immeme

We talked to the creator behind a meme page with over two million followers about how their posting workflow actually works day to day — not the highlight reel, the routine.

The idea backlog

Every idea, screenshot, and half-formed joke goes into a running list the moment it happens. Most never get used, but having a backlog means never posting under pressure with a weak idea.

Batching, not one-at-a-time

Rather than making one meme and posting it, the creator batches five to ten at once using saved templates, then schedules them across the week. AI-assisted generation is what makes batching realistic — doing that manually in a design tool would eat an entire day.

Testing captions, not just images

The same image often gets two or three caption variants tested before the final one goes out publicly, using a smaller test audience first.

Reading the comments before the analytics

Comments tell the creator whether a joke landed within minutes — well before the platform’s own analytics catch up. A flat comment section is treated as a signal to try a different angle next time, not a reason to panic.

The throughline across the whole workflow: the creative judgment — what’s funny, what’s worth posting — stays entirely human. The tooling just removes the hours of manual editing that used to sit between an idea and a finished post.
